Minimum Qualifications for Emergency Medical Technician:

 Current EMT Certification (any county in CA)

 CPR (BLS for HealthCare Providers or Equiv) Certification

 Current California Drivers License

 Ambulance Drivers License http://www.dmv.ca.gov/dl/ambu_drvr_cert.htm

 Medical Examiner’s Certificate
    (DMV Form: DL51, http://www.dmv.ca.gov/forms/dl/dl51.pdf)

 DMV H6 Motor Vehicle Report
    (Must be original copy within 10 days of submission of application)

Minimum Qualifications for Nurses:

 Current RN Licensure (in CA)

 CPR/BLS Certification

 ACLS

 PALS

 Minimum 2 year experience in ER, ICU/CCU or equivalent patient critical care

Minimum Qualifications for Paramedics:

 Current EMT-Paramedic Certification in CA

 Current CPR Certification

 Current ACLS Certification

 Current valid CA Driver License

 Current EMT-Paramedic Certification in Sacramento County, and DMV H6 Motor Vehicle Report (Must be original copy within 10 days of submission)
